Lamb Shish Kabob Recipe
Ingredients
| 10 oz. lean lamb, cut into 8 cubes | ||
| 1/2 cup dry burgundy | ||
| Vinegar | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Water | 4 Tablespoon | |
| 2 Tbsp. chopped green onion tops | ||
| Garlic powder | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Oregano | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Cherry tomatoes | 8 | |
| 8 fresh whole mushrooms | ||
| 1 small green pepper, cut into 8 squares | ||
Directions
Combine the wine, vinegar, water, onion tops, garlic powder, and oregano.
Marinate the lamb in this mixture for 1 1/2 hours.
Skewer lamb, tomatoes, mushrooms, and green pepper alternately on kabob sticks.
Broil very quickly under an open broiler or in a conventional oven-broiler.
Brush the kabobs with the marinade while they cook.
