Ingredients
| Lamb shanks | 4 | |
| Dill | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Oregano | 1/2 Tablespoon | |
| Rosemary | 1 Tablespoon | |
| 1 lge. clove garlic | ||
| 1 lge. onion, sliced thin | ||
| 1 lge. can tomato sauce | ||
| Brown sugar | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| White wine | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
MAKING
1. In a roaster, add the shanks, the dill, oregano, rosemary, garlic, and onion.
2. Cover the roaster and cook for 2 hours in a 3000 oven
3. After two hours, reduce the temperature of the roaster, uncover and cook for 30 minutes more or till done
4. In a separate saucepan, tip in the ingredients for the sauce and reduce to ½ over a high flame
SERVING
5. Serve hot with he sauce served on top
