Ingredients

 Leg lamb20 1 1/2 inch, trimmed
 Garlic1 Teaspoon, finely chopped
 Ginger2 Teaspoon, finely chopped
 Lemon juice2 Tablespoon
 3 tablespoons peanut or vegetable oil
 Turmeric1/2 Teaspoon
 Ground coriander1/2 Teaspoon
 Ground cumin1/2 Teaspoon
 Dash cayenne
 Ground black pepper1 To taste
 Onion1 Tablespoon, grated
 16 ripe cherry tomatoes or 2 ripe tomatoes cut into eighths
 Salt To Taste

Directions

GETTING READY
1. Cut the lamb in cubes, or get the butcher to do it.
2. In a bowl, place the cubes.
3. Add the garlic, ginger, lemon juice, peanut or vegetable oil, turmeric, coriander, cumin, cayenne, salt, freshly ground black pepper and grated onion.
4. Mix everything together and let the lamb marinate for about 1 hour.
5. In a small bowl , take a tablespoon of the marinade and toss with the tomatoes.
6. Next, pre-heat the broiler.

MAKING
7. Take four skewers and arrange the meat cubes and tomatoes alternately on them.
8. In the broiler, place the skewers about 4 or 5 inches from the flame.
9. Cook the kebabs, turning to cook meat evenly, for about 10 minutes.

SERVING
10. Serve hot.
