Lamb In Casserole Recipe
Ingredients
2 pounds leg of lamb
3 onions, thinly sliced
4 tablespoons butter
Parsley, chopped
3 onions, chopped
1/2 cup dry white wine
2 fresh tomatoes, peeled and chopped, or 1 tablespoon tomato paste
1/2 cup water
Salt and pepper
Directions
Cut meat into bite size pieces.
Melt butter in a casserole, add meat and chopped onion, and brown well over moderate heat.
Add tomato, sliced onions, parsley, wine, water, and salt and pepper.
Bring mixture to a boil, cover, and simmer for about 1 hour or until done.
Add more water if necessary.
