Ingredients

 1 lb shoulder of lamb, boned and cut in pieces
 4 onions, peeled and sliced
 Brown sugar1 Teaspoon
 Curry powder2 Tablespoon
 A large pinch of ground ginger
 Lemon1
 2 chicken stock cubes
 Blanched almonds1 Ounce (Garnish)
 Salt To Taste
 Pepper To Taste

Directions

Sprinkle lamb with salt and pepper.
Fry lamb, onions, curry powder, sugar and ginger in a large saucepan for 5 min.
Add grated rind and juice of lemon and stock cubes.
Cover with cold water, bring slowly to the boil, cover and simmer for 2 hours.
