Tasty Lamb Curry Recipe

Ingredients
2 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
2 pounds boneless lamb, cut into 1-inch cubes
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
2 medium-sized onions, chopped
2 medium-sized baking apples, peeled and diced
1 to 1 1/2 tablespoons curry powder
1/2 to 1 tablespoon sugar
3/4 cup hot tap water

Directions
Combine the flour, salt and garlic salt in a plastic bag.
Shake lamb in flour mixture until well coated.
Melt the butter in a skillet on a conventional surface unit.
Brown lamb on all sides.
While lamb is browning, place onions, apples, curry and sugar in a deep, 214 quart, heat-resistant, non-metallic casserole.
Heat, covered, on full power for 4 to 5 minutes, or until onion is almost tender.
Stir once during cooking time.
Add the lamb and water to the onion mixture.
Heat, uncovered, on simmer for 30 minutes or until lamb is tender.
Stir once during cooking time.
