Directions
1. In a saucepan, heat olive oil, add onion, cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. When cooked, transfer half of the onion to a mixing bowl.
2. To the saucepan, add garlic, paprika, mix and cook for another 2 minutes. Add sugar, chopped tomato and water, bring to a simmer, cook for few minutes.
3. To the mixing bowl with onion, mix together bread crumbs, mint leaves( retain 1 leave) and lamb. Season with pepper, add plums, combine well. Roll the mixture into equal sized balls.
4. To the simmering tomato mixture, add a mint leave.
5. Heat a skillet, place the meat balls, cook until it turns brown, roll occasionally.
6. Pour the prepared sauce onto the meat balls, simmer for 5 minutes.
SERVING
7. On a plate, place pasta, pour in the meat balls, sprinkle some Parmesan and serve.
