Laddu Ki Kheer Recipe
Ingredients
| Full cream milk | 1 Kilogram | |
| Seeds of 4 green cardamom crushed to a powder | ||
| 6-8 boondi laddoo at room temperature | ||
| 15 almonds cut into thin slices and toasted | ||
| 10-12 pista blanched and sliced | ||
| 1/4 tsp saffron soaked in 1 tsp warm water | ||
| 1/2 cup fresh pomegranate kernels | ||
Directions
Boil 1 kg milk, for about 30 minutes till it is reduced to almost half the quantity.
Add chhoti illaichi and keep in the refrigerator to chill.
At serving time, crumble 6-8 boondi laddos and add to the kheer to get the desired consistency.
Add half of the toasted almonds.
Decorate with blanched pistas and almonds.
Dot with kesar and anar ke dane.
