Laapsi Thooli Recipe
Ingredients
| Wheat | 1 Cup (16 tbs), broken | |
| Sugar | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Ghee | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Cardamom | 1/2 Teaspoon, powdered | |
| Aniseed | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Coconut | 2 Tablespoon, desiccated | |
| Slivered almonds | 2 Tablespoon, fried | |
| Few thin slices of dry coconut | ||
Directions
Melt ghee and fry laapsi till golden brown.
Add two cups hot water and cook on a slow fire until laapsi is cooked through.
Stir in cardamom and aniseed.
Add sugar and coconut and cook till sugar melts and is absorbed.
Decorate with coconut slices and almond slivers and serve with clotted cream.
