Kumbhi Pakodas Recipe
Ever thought that the wonderful mushrooms could make a yummy snack? The Kumbhi pakodas recipe proves just that. Yummy Kumbhi ( mushroom ) pakodas for a great tea time snack with friends.

Ingredients
| Button mushroom | 500 Gram | |
| Gram flour | 11/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Baking powder | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Cumin seeds | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Chilli powder - 1/2- 1tsp | ||
| Water | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Garlic | 2 Clove (5gm), crushed | |
| Onion | 1 , finely chopped | |
| Vegetable oil | 2 Cup (16 tbs) (For frying) | |
Directions
Put the gram flour, salt, baking powder, cumin and chilli powder into a bowl and mix it well. Add water slowly to form a batter. Stir in crushed garlic and chopped onions into the batter and keep the mixture aside for 10 minutes.
Heat oil in a pan. Dip the mushrooms in the batter. Fry the coated mushrooms in the hot oil for about 2 minutes or until golden brown. Drain oil by keeping in paper towels. Serve hot with your choice of chutny.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
