Kuei-Fui Chicken Recipe
Can you find a better recipe of Kuei-fui Chicken than this? I am challenging you to. I am sure this super delicious Chinese Kuei-fui Chicken is gonna bowl you over with its addictive flavor and texture! Whole preparation and making of Kuei-fui Chicken would take only 10 minutes. Trust me, once you taste this Kuei-fui Chicken you are bound to prepare it again!
Ingredients
1 kg. chicken
5 tbsps. dry sherry (optional)
3 tbsps. soya sauce
7 1/2 cups chicken stock
5 spring onions, sliced
8 tbsps. red wine
1 tsp. Salt
Hot water
Vegetable oil
Directions
Mix 2 teaspoons sherry with 3 teaspoons soya sauce.
Rub the chicken inside out with it.
Heat oil in a pan and fry the chicken until it begins to turn golden.
Remove and drop it into a pan of boiling hot water to remove excess oil.
Remove and keep aside.
Place the chicken in a large casserole and pour the stock over it.
Fry sliced spring onions for one minute and add to the chicken together with the remaining sherry, soya sauce, and salt.
Cover and simmer over low heat for 2 hours.
Add wine and simmer for a further 20 minutes.
Serve hot with the soup in a large tureen.
Serve with rice dish.
VEGETARIAN VERSION:
Use vegetarian chicken in place of chicken
Cut vegetarian chicken into bite size pieces, before using.
Follow the above recipe as given.
