 All-purpose flour - 1-1/2 cups
 Low-sodium baking powder - 4 teaspoons
 Unsalted butter or com oil margarine - 4 tablespoons
 Fructose1/3 Cup (16 tbs)
 Egg1
 Low-sodium low-fat milk - 2/3 cup
 Almond extract1/2 Teaspoon
 Vanilla extract1/2 Teaspoon
 Streusel Topping
 Fructose3 Tablespoon
 Unsalted butter or corn oil margarine - 1 tablespoon
 All-purpose flour - 2 tablespoons
 Ground cinnamon1/2 Teaspoon
 Finely ground or crushed almonds - 1/4 cup

Directions

GETTING READY
1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

MAKING
2.To make kuchen, sift flour and baking powder together and keep aside.
3.In a large bowl, mix together butter or margarine and fructose and cream until light.
4.Add in egg, milk and almond and vanilla extracts and mix well.
5.Add in flour mixture, gradually.
6.Stir batter until smooth.
7. In a greased 9-inch cake pan spread batter.
8.To make the topping, combine fructose, butter or margarine, cinnamon and flour to get a crumbly mixture.
9.Add almonds and mix well.
10.Sprinkle the streusel over the top of the kuchen.
11. Bake for 30 minutes until nicely browned.

SERVING
12. Serve warm with melted butter or cheese.
