Kozhi vartha curry Recipe

Chicken 1.2 Kg
Ginger garlic paste 75 Gm
Red chilli powder 5 Gm
Turmeric 5 Gm
Oil 120 Ml
Salt 10 Gm
Curry leaves 10 Gm
Onions 150 Gm
Tomatoes 100 Gm
Coriander powder 10 Gm
Cardamom (Vartha masala) 2 Gm
Clove and cinnamon 2 gm
Whole red chilly 15 Gm
Black pepp[er corn 3 Gms
Coriander seeds 20 Gm
Tamarind pulp 25 Gm
Lemon juice 15 Ml
Directions
Marinate chicken with chilli powder ,turmeric, salt and ginger garlic paste for 30 minutes.
Sautee these chicken pieces in a kadai .
Heat oil add curry leaves ,onions sautee till light brown. Add ginger garlic paste , tomatoes and bhunno until fat leaves the sides of the pan.
Then add powder masalas and the vartha masala.
Now cook the masala for the next 5 minutes
Add the chicken ,and some water and bring to boil and reduce misture until the masla coats the chicken pieces
Sprinkle pepper powder and lemon juice ,serve hot .

i thought kozhi vartha curry had coconut in it ....and why have you written cardamom as varatha masala...
