Kosher Dill Pickles Recipe
Ingredients
| Cucumbers | ||
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm) | |
| Dried red pepper | 1 To taste | |
| Celery seed | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Onion slice | 2 | |
| Green pepper slice | 2 | |
| Fresh dill | ||
| Salt | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Cider vinegar | 1 Quart | |
Directions
Pack cucumbers in sterilized quart jars; add garlic, red pepper, celery seed, onion, green pepper and 1 to 2 sprigs of dill to uach jar, Combine salt, vinegar and 4 quarts water.
Bring to a boil; pour over cucumbers to within 112 inch of jar top.
Seal immediately.
Let stand 4 to 6 weeks before serving.
