Kipper Pate Recipe
I adore this Kipper Pate recipe as it brings such positive reviews every single time I prepare it. The main ingredient in this recipe is Fish. Kipper Pate goes perfectly as Side Dish. It would be a sin to not try this sinfully delicious Kipper Pate recipe.
Ingredients
3/4 lb. kippers or 6 oz. fillets
1/2 tsp. anchovy essence
Pepper
4 oz. butter or margarine
Lemon juice
Directions
Grill the kippers or put them in a large jug, pour- boiling water over them, cover and stand in a warm place for 5-10 minutes.
Drain the fish and allow to become cold.
Remove bones and skin.
Warm the butter to soften but not melt.
Add it to the kippers with anchovy and seasoning.
Rub the mixture through a sieve or mix in the blender to make smooth.
Put in a dish and chill.
