Korean Kimchi RaMyeon (김치 라면) Recipe Video

Kimchi RaMyeon (김치라면) is one way to cook delicious Korean ramyeon. There are many different kinds of Korean ramyeon in the Korean or oriental store. Most Korean ramyeon are spicier than American ramyeon. Adding kimchi in normal ramyeon gives even more flavor and makes it more spicy. I love kimchi ramyeon. However, ramyeon is not very healthy, so I want to recommend not eating this yummy food too often. I know it is not easy to avoid this temptation. hehe I hope you will try Korean kimchi ramyeon someday. See you again soon.

Directions

MAKING
1. Heat a medium pan and boil 3 cups of water. Add kimchi to it. Then add the spice packets that accompany the ramen and cook for 1 minute. Add the noodles and cook for 3 minutes, occasionally stirring.
2. Add the egg and do not stir. Cook for 2 1/2 minutes. When the egg white is cooked, break the yolk with the chopstick or any other spoon you are using for the cooking.
3. Add the green onion (when 15 seconds are left). Save a few green onion pieces to garnish.

SERVING
4. Serve hot and garnish with some more green onions and seaweed.

Note
If you like spicy food you can use 'Shin Ramyun' for the ramon.

Editors Review

If you find the American instant ramen noodles bland and boring, spice it up with some delicious kimchi! This has double benefits, not only does the kimchi add to the flavor of the bland packet ramen noodles, cabbage definitely adds to the nutritional value of it! While it is recommended that ramen should not be eaten too often, it is not easy to avoid temptation, so why not try and make it healthier then!
