Kielbasa With Sauerkraut Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 1-pound kielbasa, cut into 2-inch pieces | ||
| Salad oil | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Onion | 1 Small, diced | |
| Green pepper | 1 Small, diced | |
| 1 16-ounce bag or can sauerkraut, drained | ||
| Water | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Brown sugar | 2 Tablespoon | |
| 1 large red cooking apple, cut into wedges | ||
Directions
1. In 10-inch skillet over medium heat, cook kielbasa until browned; remove to plate.
2. In same skillet, in hot salad oil, cook onion and green pepper until tender. Add sauerkraut, water, sugar, and kielbasa; heat to boiling. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 15 minutes. Add apple; heat through.
