Kielbasa With Sauerkraut Recipe

Ingredients

 
1 1-pound kielbasa, cut into 2-inch pieces
 
2 tablespoons salad oil
 
1 small onion, diced
 
1 small green pepper, diced
 
1 16-ounce bag or can sauerkraut, drained
 
3/4 cup water
 
2 tablespoons brown sugar
 
1 large red cooking apple, cut into wedges

Directions

1. In 10-inch skillet over medium heat, cook kielbasa until browned; remove to plate.
2. In same skillet, in hot salad oil, cook onion and green pepper until tender. Add sauerkraut, water, sugar, and kielbasa; heat to boiling. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 15 minutes. Add apple; heat through.

I tried it, but I did added garlic in mine. But it was excellant!
