Kidney In Port Wine Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 veal kidney, about 1 lb. | ||
| Onion | 2 Tablespoon, finley chopped | |
| Parsley | 1 Tablespoon, finely chopped | |
| Flour | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Few grains pepper | ||
| Port wine | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Buttered toast squares (slice bread, crusts removed, for 4 toast squares) | ||
Directions
Remove the membrane and hard parts from the kidney; cut kidney into small pieces.
Put into a pan with onion and parsley; cook 10 minutes, stirring constantly.
Blend flour, salt, and pepper; add to kidney mixture; stir in the wine.
