Kidney Beans with Sweet and Hot Red Peppers Recipe

Ingredients

 Olive oil1 Tablespoon
 1 sweet red pepper and 1 green pepper, seeded and diced
 Onion1 Large, chopped
 One 19-ounce can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
 Brown sugar2 Tablespoon
 Crushed red pepper2 Tablespoon
 Hot cooked brown rice as an accompaniment

Directions

Heat the oil in a medium-size skillet, and saute the sweet red and green peppers with the onion until they have softened.
Add all the remaining ingredients and simmer for 10 minutes.
Serve with rice.
