Khir Recipe
Khir has a lovely taste. Khir gets its taste from rice mixed with milk and almonds. Khir is inspired by many food joints across the globe.
Ingredients
Milk 1 kg
Left over rice 1/2 cup
Saffron strands
Sugar 7-8 tbsp or as per taste
Cardamoms 2
Soaked almonds 10-12
Directions
Boil milk.
Add boiled rice.
Cook on medium heat and stir frequently.
When the mixture is almost thick add saffron liquid and sugar.
Remove from fire.
Garnish with crushed cardamom seeds and serve chilled or at room temperature.
