Kheera Pudina Raita Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 cups plain, low-fat yogurt | ||
| Toasted ground cumin | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Ground cumin | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Hot chili powder | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| 1 small green chili pepper, seeded and minced (optional) | ||
| Pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Sugar | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Cucumber | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs), peeled | |
| Chopped | 1 1/2 Tablespoon | |
| Pinch each of toasted ground cumin and hot chili powder, to garnish | ||
Directions
Beat the yogurt, spices, sugar, and salt in a bowl until smooth and creamy.
Stir in the cucumber and mint, saving some mint.
Sprinkle with a pinch each of toasted ground cumin and chili powder and the remaining mint.
Serve chilled.
