Classic Keema Matar Recipe
Ingredients
| Safflower oil | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Cloves | 3 | |
| Cinnamon | 1 Inch | |
| 3 whole pepper corns | ||
| Onion | 1 Large, finely chopped | |
| 500 gms lean lamb, beef, chicken or pork mince | ||
| Garam masala | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Coriander powder | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Chilli powder | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Frozen peas | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Natural yogurt | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Heat oil in pan, add clove, cinnamon, pepper corn.
As clove and pepper com pop, add onion, saute until transparent, add mince, garam masala, coriander powder, chilli powder, stir till meat is browned and separated.
Add yogurt, peas, salt, stir well, cover, cook on low till mince is cooked (approx 5 mins).
Adjust salt, chilli to taste.
