200 gms. flour
75 gms. powdered sugar
20 gms. almonds, boiled skinned, sliced finely
20 gms. pistachios, boiled skinned, sliced finely
150 ml. milk with cream
2 gms. saffron heated on a tava and finely crumbled, pure ghee
Directions
1. Place sieved flour on your work surface and make a hole in the centre. Add saffron, milk and sugar and mix well and knead to a smooth dough.
2. Make about ten balls from this dough. Roll out into a round the size of a small normal roti, apply ghee to the surface and fold into half. Apply ghee again and fold into a quarter triangle. Then roll it out into a roti, press almond and pistachio slices on one side and cook slowly with ghee on both sides.
