Keftedes Greek Meat Ball Recipe
Ingredients
| Round steak | 1 1/2 Pound | |
| 2 eggs, lightly beaten | ||
| Soft bread crumbs | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Onions | 2 Medium, finely chopped | |
| Parsley | 2 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| Mint | 1 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| Cinnamon | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Ground allspice | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Ground black pepper | 1 To taste | |
| Shortening for pan frying | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
Directions
MAKING
1) In a bowl, mix all the ingredients except shortening and place in the refrigerator for several hours.
2) Shape the mixture into bite-size balls and fry in the shortening until brown and cooked through.
SERVING
3) Serve immediately in a nice plate.
