Classic Kedgeree Recipe
Ingredients
| Smoked haddock - 1/2 pound, cooked | ||
| Patna rice -€“ 3 ounces | ||
| Margarine | 1 1/2 Ounce | |
| Salt | 1 To taste | |
| Pepper | 1 To taste | |
| Hard boiled egg - 1 or 1 teaspoon. chopped parsley | ||
Directions
MAKING
1. In a deep pan, boil rice.
2. Meanwhile, poach haddock.
3. Carefully peel away any skin and remove bone from the fish. Using a fork, flake it.
4. Heat a saucepan and melt margarine. Put in rice, flaked fish, salt and pepper. Saute thoroughly, for 15-20 minutes.
SERVING
5. On a heated dish, pile the rice mixture like a cone. Serve hot.
