Karnatzlach Recipe
Ingredients
| Ground meat mixture - 1 1/2 pounds | ||
| Onion | 1 | |
| Large carrot - 1, grated | ||
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm) | |
| Thyme, marjoram and oregano - 1 Pinch of OR Poultry seasoning - 2 teaspoons | ||
| Eggs - 2 slightly beaten | ||
| Kelp | 1 Dash | |
| Paprika | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Wheat germ | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Yeast | 2 Tablespoon | |
Directions
MAKING
1.Mix meat mixture with onion, carrot, garlic, thyme, marjoram , oregano, eggs, and kelp.
2.Mix and make rolls with length of 2-3 inches and diameter equivalent to frankfurter.
3.Coat with wheatgerm, yeast and paprika by rolling over in each separately.
4.Broil the rolls by placing them on a greased rack until brown.
SERVING
5.Serve with hot tomato sauce.
