Recipe Story

Given tio me by my late wife's mom. ORIGIN: Taisa Kamnotsky, Kyiv-Ukraine, circa 1998

Ingredients

 
1 ea Cabbage head medium shredded
 
1/4 c Milk
 
1 ea Carrot shredded
 
3 ea Onions medium shredded
 
3 tb Corn oil
 
1 tb Maggi sauce
 
2 tb Ketchup
 
1 c Meat cooked cubed 1/2"

Directions

Stew cabbage in milk in a pot.
Season with Maggi sauce.
When done, remove cabbage from pot, drain & discard milk.
Heat oil in a large skillet.
Add carrot & onion.
Saute' until done.
Add ketchup.
Mix well then remove from heat & add cabbage.
Remove from skillet & serve.
Add 1 cup of left over cooked meat anykind.
Cook for 3-5 mins. & serve.
