Ingredients

 1/2 cup diced salt pork or bacon
 3 to 4 medium-size potatoes
 Onion1/2
 Water2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Cream 2 1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Salt2 Teaspoon
 Pepper1
 Light cream2 Cup (16 tbs), scalded

Directions

Saute salt pork until brown and crisp; add potatoes and onion that have been put through a food chopper.
Add water, corn, and seasonings; simmer, covered, for 15 minutes.
Stir in the cream.
Reheat but do not boil.
