Kande Pohe Recipe
Ingredients
| Rice | 1/4 Kilogram | |
| Onion | 1 Large | |
| Green chillies | 3 | |
| Lemon juice | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Sugar | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Turmeric powder | 1/4 Teaspoon (Seasoning:) | |
| Mustard seeds | 1/2 Teaspoon (Seasoning:) | |
| Curry leaves | 5 (Seasoning:) | |
| A pinch of Hing (asafoetida) | ||
| Fresh chopped coriander | ||
Directions
1. Rinse the poha in water.
2. Remove the water by keeping it over a sieve. Leave it for 5-10 minutes.
3. Add haldi and lemon juice to the washed poha and mix well.
4. Finely chop onions.
5. Heat a pan and add the seasoning ingredients.
6. On crackling of mustard seeds, add chopped green chillies, curry leaves and hing.
7. Add onion and saute, till soft and transparent.
8. Add salt and sugar and mix thoroughly.
9. Mix in the poha. Stir well. Cover the pan with a lid for a few minutes.
10. Garnish with chopped coriander.
