Kalamra Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 cup good rice | ||
| Curds | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sugar | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| A layer of clotted cream | ||
| Blanched almonds | 20 Gram | |
| 20 gms pistas blanched and slivered | ||
| Poppy seeds | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Raisins | 1 Tablespoon | |
| 1 maskati pomegranate | ||
| Few rose petals | ||
Directions
Cook the rice in plain boiling water.
Strain and cool in a thali.
Beat curds and sugar and mix into the cold rice.
Pour into a shallow dish.
Top with a layer of clotted cream and sprinkle the nuts, poppyseeds, raisins, pomegranate seeds, and rose petals decoratively.
