Kalakand Recipe
Ingredients
| Ricotta cheese : one 15 oz | ||
| Unsweetened Condensed milk : 1 12 oz can | ||
| Sugar | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Almonds | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Pistachios : grated/ sliced t tbsp | ||
| Powdered elaichi/cardamom : 1 tsp | ||
Directions
Apply cooking spray on the inside of a microwavable container. Mix Ricotta cheese with condensed milk. Mix till all lumps are dissolved. Mix in cardamom powder and sugar. if using sweetened condensed milk no need to add sugar.
Put it in microwave for 5 minutes. Agin mix the mixture and put for 5 more minutes. Stop after 2 minutes and mix to remove all lumps. Keep doing till the mixture has become Lumpy and grainy. You can do till you want the consistency. if you want it more grainy you can cook some more in microwave. Now grease a square container with cooking spray. Put the grainy mixture in this container. Spread it out evenly. Let it stand for an hour. Now add the almonds and pistachios. Cut them into ractangles and squares. They a lightly sweet. Devour them.
