Kai Suthu Murukku Recipe

Murukku is typically made from a mixture of urad and rice flour, salt, and flavourings such as chilli, asafoetida, ajawain, or cumin. As Diwali is coming nearer everybody is busy planning what are the sweets and savouries that could be made. Here is another Diwali recipe of Hand Made Murukku, which is an art by itself. I always admire my mom for her patience during the preparation of Hand Made Murukku.

I am going to try out this recipe, it looks really good, just need the patience for it. I tried Maida chakli, its crispy but feel the taste of oil even though I strained it well and absorbed on tissue paper.

I love kai murukku. But, i only made ordinary butter murukku(check in my site) and thought kai murukku is hard to get that spiral and the original buttery taste. After reading your's, i think i should try out.
