Kadhi Recipe Video

Sindhi Kadhi is the most delicious kadhi that I have ever tasted. Give it a try.

Ingredients

 
Beasn or split chick pea flour
 
Drumsticks
 
Potatoes
 
Radish
 
okra
 
Green chilli chopped
 
Fresh corander and curry leaves chopped
 
Fenugreek seeds
 
Salt
 
Turmeric
 
Asafoetida
 
Brown sugar
 
Coriander powder
 
Tamrind pulp

Directions

Take a couple of tbsp flour. Add water and make a solition.

Heat oil in a pressure cooker. Add 1/4 tsp asafoetida, fenugreek seeds, ginger and chillies. Stir fry them.

Add the radish. Cook for some time.

Start adding the flour solution by stiting constantly. Add more water.

When it comes to boil kadhi will start to thicken.

Add the potatoes and drumsticks.

Add salt, coriander powder, tamrind pulp and brown sugar.

Bring the kadhi to boil.

Seal the cooker with the lid and cook until 1 whistle.

Open the cooker after cooling and garnish with fresh coriander leaves.

Serve in a bowl.
