Junkets Recipe
Ingredients
| Milk | 1 Pint | |
| Essence of rennet - 1 teasp | ||
| Castor sugar - 1/2 oz | ||
Directions
GETTING READY
1. Heat the milk gently till it reaches 98° F
MAKING
2. Add the sugar to the milk along with any flavoring and pour into a glass dish
3. Add the rennet and leave to set undisturbed in cool place for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
SERVING
4. Grate nutmeg on top of the set pudding and serve with stewed fruit, fruit salad, or with cream.
