Julienned Vegetable Soup Recipe
Ingredients
3 carrots, peeled and julienned
2 potatoes, peeled and julienned
1 turnip, peeled and julienned
2 onions, peeled and finely chopped
1 tomato, peeled, seeded, and diced
1/2 pound green beans, slivered
2 celery ribs, julienned
1 garlic clove, chopped
Chicken stock to cover
Salt and fresh pepper to taste
1/4 cup chopped parsley
Directions
Put everything except parsley into a kettle.
Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer.
Put on lid and cook until vegetables are tender, about 20 minutes.
Sprinkle parsley Over.
