Julep Lamb Chops Flambe Recipe
Ingredients
| Vegetable oil spray | ||
| Dried mint | 2 Teaspoon | |
| 8 lean loin lamb chops, all visible fat removed | ||
| 2 teaspoons acceptable vegetable oil | ||
| 4 slices canned no-sugar-added pineapple, canned in natural juices | ||
| Ground black pepper | To Taste | |
| Bourbon | 2 Tablespoon, warmed | |
Directions
Preheat broiler or grill.
Lightly spray broiler pan or grill top with vegetable oil.
Press dried mint into surface of chops.
Place on prepared broiler pan or grill.
Cook about 4 inches from heat for 12 to 16 minutes, depending on thickness of chops.
Meanwhile, heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Add pineapple slices and brown slightly on each side.
Place in bottom of a serving dish.
When chops are done, season with pepper.
Arrange over pineapple slices.
Sprinkle bourbon over chops, ignite with a match and take to the table aflame.
