Jubilee Jumbles Recipe
Ingredients

| Brown sugar | 1 Cup (16 tbs), firmly packed | |
| Sugar | 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
| Eggs | 2 | |
| Evaporated milk | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Vanilla | 1 Teaspoon | |
| All-purpose flour | 2 3⁄4 Cup (44 tbs), sifted | |
| Baking soda | 1⁄2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Walnuts | 1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped |

Directions
1)In a bowl, beat together shortening and sugars until light and fluffy.
2)Add eggs and beat well.
3)Add milk and vanilla.
4)In another bowl, sift together flour, soda and salt.
5)Mix it with creamed mixture. Add walnuts and mix thoroughly.
6)Take a greased baking sheet and drop spoonsful on it, about 2 inches apart.
7)Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes, or until delicately browned.
8)Remove from baking sheets and cool.
9)In a small pan, heat 2 tablespoons of butter until golden brown.
10)Add 2 cups sifted confectioners' sugar and evaporated milk.
11)Beat until smooth and frost cookies with this mixture.
SERVING
12)Serve the jubilee jumbles on special occasions like Christmas.
