Ingredients

 
Pork Cooking Ingredients:
 
2 pork shanks
 
1-1 1/2 jug water
 
2 medium whole onions(peeled)
 
1 cup soy sauce
 
1 cup sugar
 
4 big pieces of ginger
 
whole head of garlic
 
4 cinnamon sticks
 
350gm (1/2 bottle) rice mollases
 
Dipping Sauce Ingredients:
 
1 tbsp salted shrimp
 
1 tsp hot pepper
 
2-3 tbsp sprite

Directions

In a large pot, add all the ingredients for cooking the pork, place the pork shanks, cover with water. Cook for 2-3 hrs until tender.
Remove the pork out of the pot. Allow to cool, slice up and serve.
In a small bowl, add all the dipping sauce ingredients and mix well.
