| Buttermilk/Sour milk | 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
| Dairy sour cream | 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs) |

Directions
Mix in brown sugar.
Add a mixture of egg, buttermilk, and sour cream all at one time to dry ingredients.
Beat with a rotary beater until just smooth.
Turn into a greased 11x7x1 1/2 inch baking pan; spread evenly.
Bake at 425°F about 20 minutes.
Break or cut johnnycake into squares.
