Ingredients

 Salt pork1/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped
 Celery1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped
 Onion1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped
 1 28-ounce can tomatoes, cut up
 Chili Sauce3/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Tomato Paste1/3 Cup (16 tbs)
 Garlic1 Clove (5gm), minced
 1 teaspoon beef-flavored gravy base
 Dried thyme leaves1/2 Teaspoon, crushed
 Salt3/4 Teaspoon
 Pepper1/4 Teaspoon
 Frozen shrimp11/2 Pound, cooked, shelled

Directions

In large saucepan fry pork till crisp; remove bits of pork.
Cook celery and onion in drippings till tender.
Add tomatoes, chili sauce, tomato paste, garlic, gravy base, thyme, salt, and pepper.
Simmer, covered, for 30 minutes.
Stir in shrimp.
Serve over hot cooked rice.
