Joe's Special Stuffed Pita's Recipe
Ingredients
| Beef | 1/2 pound | |
| Onion | 1 Medium | |
| Tofu | 4 Ounce | |
| Dried oregano | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Dried marjoram | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Worcestershire sauce | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Spinach package | 1/2 | |
| Eggs | 3 | |
| Pitas - 3 large for stuffing | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
MAKING
1) Into a skillet, fry the meat till evenly browned
2) Using a knife, chop the onion roughly
3) Cut the tofu onto cubes
4) Add the onion to the beef
5) Mix together the tofu, oregano, marjoram, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper to the beef and cook through
6) Under running water, wash the spinach leaves
7) Remove the stems
8) Tip in the spinach to the beef and allow to reduce as if wilted
9) Using a fork, lightly beat the egg yolks
10) Add in the eggs and cook for a minute
SERVING
11) Stuff the pitas with the mixture and serve with a fresh salad
