Jiffy Steak Au Poivre Recipe
I originally made this Jiffy Steak Au Poivre for my spouse but I can't stop eating it now! The key ingredient in Jiffy Steak Au Poivre is Beef. Ingredients
2 beef cube steaks
1 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
Salt
2 tablespoons brandy
Directions
Sprinkle beef cube steaks on both sides with freshly ground pepper, pressing in firmly with hands.
In medium skillet brown the steaks very quickly in butter or margarine, about 1 minute on each side.
Sprinkle with salt.
Add brandy to skillet; flame.
Remove steaks to warm serving platter; pour pan drippings over.
Makes 2 servings.
