Jiffy Jambalaya Recipe

Ingredients
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
2 tablespoons cooking oil
1 28-ounce can tomatoes, cut up
1 12-ounce can luncheon meat, cubed
1/2 cup water 1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme, crushed
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano, crushed
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
3 drops bottled hot pepper sauce
Dash pepper
1 1/2 cups quick-cooking rice
Directions
In 3-quart saucepan cook onion and green pepper in hot oil till tender.
Stir in remaining ingredients except rice.
Bring to boiling.
Stir in rice.
Cover; simmer 5 minutes more.
