Jiffy Ham Special Recipe
Ingredients
| Onion | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Green pepper | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Butter margarine | 2 Tablespoon, melted | |
| 1 16-ounce can tomatoes, cut up | ||
| 1 1/2 cups cubed fully cooked ham | ||
| Water | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Long grain rice | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Chili Sauce | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Worcestershire sauce | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1 Dash | |
| Parsley | ||
Directions
In 10-inch skillet cook chopped onion and green pepper in melted margarine or butter till vegetables are tender but not brown.
Add undrained tomatoes, ham, water, uncooked rice, chili sauce, salt, Worcestershire sauce, and pepper.
Cover and simmer 25 to 30 minutes, stirring once or twice.
Trim ham mixture with parsley.
