Jerk Chicken in Caribbean Style Recipe Video
Learn how to make my famous jerk chicken marinade! This is perfect for any BBQ and if you want to make some ready for Notting Hill Carnival!
Ingredients
| Chicken legs | 4 Pound | |
| Spring onions | 6 Medium | |
| Garlic | 2 Clove (10 gm) | |
| Scotch bonnet pepper | 3 Small | |
| All spice | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Cinnamon | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Nutmeg | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Fresh thyme | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Honey | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 1 1⁄2 Tablespoon | |
| Black pepper | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Vinegar | 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) | |
| Oil | 1 Tablespoon |
Directions
GETTING READY
1. In a blender, combine onions, garlic, bonnet peppers, all spice, cinnamon, nutmeg, thyme, honey, salt, black pepper, vinegar and oil.
2. Blend it until smooth.
3. In bowl, put chicken and spread it over chicken. Leave it over night or for couple of hours.
MAKING
4. On BBQ, cook marinated chicken for 20 minutes.
SERVING
5. Serve with BBQ sauce.
