Jelly Filled Dainties Recipe

Ingredients
| All purpose flour | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| 2 1/4 cups KELLOGG'S® CORN FLAKES cereal | ||
| Margarine | 1 Cup (16 tbs), softened | |
| Firmly packed brown sugar | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Vanilla extract | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| 1 cup currant, raspberry or strawberry jelly | ||
Directions
Stir together flour and salt; set aside.
Crush Kellogg's® Corn Flakes cereal into fine crumbs to measure 1/2 cup; set aside.
In large bowl, blend margarine and sugar.
Add egg and vanilla; beat well.
Stir in flour mixture.
Shape dough into 1-inch balls.
Roll in cereal.
Place about 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
Make an indentation in each cookie using handle of wooden spoon.
Bake at 300°F for 8 to 10 minutes.
Remove from oven; press down indentation in each cookie.
Return to oven and bake about 10 minutes more or until lightly browned.
Cool on cookie sheets 1 minute.
Cool completely on wire racks.
When cool, fill centers with about 1 teaspoon jelly.
