Jellied Grapefruit and Lime Salad Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 pkg. lime-flavored gelatin dessert | ||
| 1 c. hot or boiling water | ||
| 1 c. canned grapefruit syrup | ||
| Grapefruit | 1 Cup (16 tbs), drained | |
| Stuffed olives | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), sliced | |
| Avocado | 1 (Salad greens) | |
| Mayonnaise or French dressing | ||
Directions
Dissolve the gelatin dessert in hot or boiling water, depending upon the manufacturer's directions.
Add the grapefruit syrup, drained from the canned grapefruit; then chill until it begins to thicken.
Add the drained grapefruit and sliced olives, turn into 8 small individual molds and chill until set.
Unmold on salad greens arranged on a large platter, and garnish with slices of avocado.
Serve with mayonnaise or French dressing.
