Jellied Cheese Ring Recipe
Ingredients
| Gelatin - 1 envelope, unflavored | ||
| Water | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Cottage cheese | 1 Cup (16 tbs), mashed | |
| Roquefort or blue cheese - 1/2 cup, crumbled | ||
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Cream - 2/3 cup heavy | ||
Directions
MAKING
1. Over a bowl of water sprinkle gelatin and let it stand for 5 minutes.
2. Dissolve over hot water.
3. In a bowl combine remaining ingredients except greens and blend with gelatin.
4. Into oiled 1-quart ring mold pour and chill until firm.
SERVING
5. Unmold on greens, fill center with chicken, meat or fish salad and serve.
