Ingredients
Basmati Rice - 3 cups
Water to cook rice - 5 cups
Onions - 1 cup
Cumin Seeds - 2 tbs
Green Chillies - 3 slit lengthwise
Butter/Margarine - 2 tbs
Cloves - 6
Cinnamon Stick - 2 medium sized
Bay leaves - 4
Ginger Garlic paste - 1 tsp
Directions
Wash Basmati Rice & keep aside.
Heat butter/margarine in a fry pan. Add bay leaves, cloves, cinnamon stick, onions, green chillies & saute until onions turn brownish. Add cumin seeds & saute for another 10 seconds.
Add Basmati Rice & mix well.
Add 5 cups water & cook rice either on stove or in rice cooker.
Garnish with coriander (optional) & Serve Hot.
