Jeannette'S Rice Pilaf Recipe
Ingredients
| Butter stick | 1 | |
| Onions | 3 Large, chopped | |
| Long grain rice | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Chicken broth | 2 Can (10oz) | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper red | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Black pepper | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Paprika | 1 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Basil | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Thyme | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Garlic powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Dry mustard | 1/2 Teaspoon |
Directions
MAKING
1) In a non-stick pan, melt butter and sauté onions until tender, stirring occasionally.
2) Stir in unwashed rice, chicken broth, herbs and all the seasonings.
3) Cook until the rice mixture is dry.
4) Stir couple of times while cooking.
5) Reduce the heat to low, put the lid on and cook until the rice if tender, about 20 minutes.
SERVING
6) Serve hot garnished with chopped parsley if desired.
